Meeting — September 3, 2014

The next meeting is scheduled for September 3, 2014 at the U of C Downtown Campus, room 426, at 7 p.m. As always, the meeting is open to members and non-members. Last month’s meeting was a bit technically involved, so this month we will focus on end user applications. We’ll take a quick look at Tmux and also the AMPPS web software distribution (commonly called to a LAMP stack even though it’s a tree).

After the meeting we usually head over to Brewster’s/Beer Revolution, which is within walking distance of meeting location. Even if you can’t make it to the meeting, you’re welcome to join us for beers.

Anand.

Looking forward to the meeting, it’ll be my first time there.

Hopefully in the future, we can have a bit more notice of when it is. I’m sure you’re busy Anand, it’s just that this really came up at the last minute on the site.

    Thanks!

Welcome to the group, Kyle. You’re right, more advanced noticed is definitely required.
