[Convergence] Updates

Hey Converge People,

I managed to get the multimedia system up and running with SuSE 9.1, 
everything seems to work dandy except the ability to play  DVD's which was 
one of the main reasons I had for wanting it in the first place. The nVidia 
driver is in and working like a champ. Return to Castle Wolfenstein has been 
installed and looks great it we want to show off gaming on Linux.

We'll be picking up the second flat panel display from Computer Surplus 
tomorrow along with some more mousepads to giveaway and a set of speakers to 
hook up to the CLUG machine so we can have sound on that one as well.

I would like to say a very big thank-you to Computer Surplus and Keith 
Robinson in particular. He has been a longtime supporter of CLUG and any 
business CLUG can send their way would be great.

We picked up velcro and duct tape on the weekend. The brochures have been 
printed and folded. All the Knoppix CD's have been burned. Computer Surplus 
offered us more CD's if we need them, we'll see after Wednesday I guess.

I think we are in good shape. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day.
