Hey Convergence people,

Okay, so CLUG are now the proud owners of one piece of 10x10 carpet for trade
shows like convergence. We got the remnant from Home Depot at a considerable
discount thanks to Kari's bargaining skills. The gave it to us for 50% off
which worked out to about $52. It's charcoal grey and should contrast our
black paneled booth nicely.

I'm going to be making arrangements with Ideal Rentals for the table, chairs,
table cloth and table skirting today at lunchtime. This will all run CLUG
about $50 for the three days.

Chris Wallace dropped off our RAM to Nexus last night so by tonight I will
know whether it will work in our machine.

I have decided to offer up my computer for the Multimedia system I had wished
for. The specs are:

Athlon 750MHz
320Mb RAM
?HD (might be picking up a new one)
Soundblaster Live 5.1
nVidia GeForce 3 (not sure of the VRAM)
DVD
CD-RW

I'll also have my sound system with me.

I will be loading SuSE 9.1 on there and hopefully getting the DVD worked out
and ready to go. I wouldn't mind having Return to Castle Wolfenstein and or
Unreal Tournament 2003 on there. I have both these games and I know they work
under Linux. I kind of wanted to show off that the Home User can have some
fun with Linux too. I could probably use some help getting that all working.
Anyone want to offer some time perhaps Sunday evening? We are busy tonight
and most of the weekend.

Nucleus is donating the printing of our banner. This will be another paper
banner for now.

Szemir and Rod are burning the Knoppix CD's.

Aaron is confirmed for speaking in the Exposition Theatre.

We still have to pick up some odds and ends but we are getting pretty close.

I think that is it. Anyone else have anything?
