The samba/cifs filters are normal for shaw and are not indicative of an
active firewall on your machine.
On a curiosity note, what are you using to manage your iptables rules?
This looks like an Ubuntu dapper box and I was curious since most users
may not find a home rolled iptables script easy enough to manage.
