Perhaps the flash drive is mounted as read only?<br><br>mount -o remount,rw [path to USB dev]<br><br>or it is in NTFS and your linux kernel doesn't have ntfs support.<br><br>Can you delete other files or is it only Cottage68 folder that you can't delete?<br>

Hi Folks, <br><br>I have an 8GB flash drive which is full so I'm trying to remove some of the directories on it. When I try, as su, to use rm I get the following output:<br><br>redcube:/media/disk-1# rm -fr Cottage68<br>
