I likely have a spare monitor.
I still use VGA but I'm tired of toteing CRT's around and I can find 15" flat screens for $15 bux in the pawn shops.
I have some extra desk top machines with lots of HDD too.
Its just big heavy obsolete junk. Any takers?

I'm not sure but I think the purpose of those cables may be to display TV signals on VGA monitors rather than the reverse. I'm going to try that once I get a spare VGA monitor. To get VGA output onto a TV you need a display card that supports RCA output. My laptop does this but it has a built in S-Video out interface and it works fine (at least with Windows). I also have a video card in one of my old PCs that has RCA composite out which works fine with the Windows drivers (never bothered to find the Linux ones). You really lose a lot when you take VGA (which is hi-def) and put it on a low def device like an old NTSC TV. It is suitable for movies but hard on the eyes for any office type work. I think you will need something like a converter box like http://www.amazon.ca/VGA-RCA-S-Video-Converter-Box/dp/B003ZA7Q7C/ref=pd_rhf_shvl_2 to achieve what you want (at least the reviews lead me to believe it works).
