I got hit by copyright when we were printing our hockey jerseys for 
DefCon last summer.  I blogged about it here:

The short story is that a vendor refused to work with our artwork unless 
we could produce licenses.  The artwork was clearly satirical, or 
original.  But they still used the copyright argument.  Another vendor 
had no issues with the artwork.
