We'll need to know real soon who is going, and if we are buying airline
tickets or not. If you are interested in going to DefCon this year,
message me off list.
The options are to drive down or fly down. The flight will cost approx
$500 - $600 per person (round trip) - without taxes/boarding fees/etc.
That is assuming that we leave on Thursday (the 7th) and come back on
Monday (the 11th). (those numbers are from WestJet's site)
The drive down would be the cost of a rental vehicle (if needed), and
gas. And 20ish hours in a car with the others.
Hotel rooms are $98 per night - double occupancy. 3 to 4 people bumps
the room to $120 per night.
If 4 or more people want to go, this trip becomes very cost effective.
We currently have 2 confirmed. Those two will be booking flights in
the next few days if no one else speaks up. (that would be me and Andrew).
Contact me off list if you are intending on going, or want more details.
