I wasn't planning on running Ubuntu... ever... but my girlfriend's new
(Vista) laptop was pissing her off.  I put Ubuntu on there this
weekend, and she found it a lot easier to use than Vista so far (and a
heck of a lot faster, even with compiz running.)
