Unless Broadcom has changed its stance recently, they are rather
un-cooperative with the open source communities. Which means drivers
for Broadcom devices are hacks and often lead to problems with Linux.
On the otherhand, my own experience is with the Broadcom based NICs, and
Feisty configures itself for them fine I believe.
Other than that, I'm afraid I can't offer anymore insight.
