Looks pretty nice... I must say.

I think anyone considering this should consider the OLPC XO.

It's not as powerful, a little bit heavier, and lacking on disk space by
comparison, but the money spent has an impact far beyond just providing
your shiny new laptop.

I guess it boils down to what you are intending to use it for (the
appearance is a little bold also).  This machine runs Fedora Linux, and
apparently there are folks in the open source development community that
are using these a their everyday machine.

My immediate family is pitching in for one that we're giving to my
nephew for Christmas.  The fact that his first machine will be Linux has
me tickled pink.
