[clug-talk] Challenge for IF1006

hi all,

last night i was beaten by a 5 year old e-machines POS. ubuntu  
wouldn't boot, linspire wouldn't load either. i'm going to try  
xubuntu on saturday, but i feel that it's going to take everyone's  
combined knowledge to get this thing working.
