It likely *is* chrooted, you just don't have a copy of bash in the kolab
chroot jail, which is a good thing and is to be expected.  So, chroot
/kolab should fail.

Use the kolab specific scipts and apps to manage processes.  *Do not do
things the way you are used to*, it will break.

I only have kolab in a VM which I do not currently have access to, so I
cannot provide more specifics, but there is a particular syntax to
restarting kolab services.
