Hello All,

Sorry for sending the first message without a subject.

I rebooted without the Knoppix 3.7 live CD and got the following messages when I
booted into Kanotix:

"Open failed no such device or address" very many times this error message was
repeated.

Quite a few other error messages went by to quickly to read.

I then typed startx and got the following error messages:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xserverc: line 2:/usr/bin/X11/X: No such file or directory

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xserverc: line 2: exec:usr/bin/X11/X: cannot execute:
No such file or directory giving up
xinit: No such file or directory (errorno2): unable to connect to xserver
xinit: No such process(errno 3): server error

This all happened after I did an apt-get update and an apt-get upgrade with
default choices.

I hope this helps to see what is going on.
