After talking to both the University Services and Shawn, I think we
could video record the session if we have the equipment. There will be
a tape recorder that will take a line feed from the sound system. If we
take this feed for the video recorder, then we would have really good
sound quality.
Here is what we need, two video cameras with tripods with capability of
taking external line in on sound. Ideally, we have two MythTV boxes
that allows us to digitize the video and sound on the spot. We will
also need at least two volunteers that will be available for the day and
be willing to sit through all the sessions. I am planning to run up to
the University again to have a look at the podium setup.
Any takers?
