This won't work as he in on a PPC computer.

I prefer xine and gxine for DVD and media playback. Once in a while I
will use mplayer.
Also, 3rd party repositories may not have a PPC version, so if you are
seeing 404 errors on an aptitude/apt-get update, then remove that
repository from your sources.list.
