[clug-talk] ATI and Video Overlay

Re all,

Previously I was using Fedora Core 4 with the ATI Linux Drivers for my
Radeon card. I'm using tv-out, and under that setup I was able to
display video on both the TV and monitor at the same time. A couple
weeks ago I switched to FC5, and initially the ATI drivers were not
working on this system. Today I installed the ATI drivers from the
livna-testing repo. (which may have something to do with my problem).
The drivers seem to work fine, although initially I was only able to
display video on the monitor. The TV would just show black output. I
figured out that I am able to switch the overlay between the monitor and
the TV with the following command:
aticonfig --ovon=x
I would like the video to output on both displays without having to
switch them manually, but I'm not sure how I managed to do it last time.
Does anyone know how this is done?

Thanks,

Jesse
