Don't hold your breath. I used to work at Shaw years ago, and 4 days
would be a massive improvement for them. :(
Bypassing Shaw's DNS server by running one locally is what I have done
for years now. Much better solution for me though it still sucks for
anyone trying to access your site from Shaw.

Nicely written response btw. This sort of thing can easily spawn flame
wars since people tend to already be upset and are ready to vent.
Clarity in e-mail is a refreshing change. :)
It is unfortunate but economics trumps everything else at the end of the
day. Witness the eruption of the VOIP protection racket employed by an
increasing number of ISPs. ISPs will increase the cache for as long as
they can get away with it.
