I know there was some discussion about people being willing to donate extra
for special items over an above they might have paid for their membership or
what have you. Could this be one of those special occasions where say a
CLUG member who is looking at attending the Installfest could donate say
10-20 dollars to help with rentals and such. If we are able to get a
donation of a hall, that money could then go to other purposes or be
refunded back to that person if they wish.
I would like to go to the IFest myself and would be willing to pony in if I
am in town to attend. If it decided to do it at VFXweb I may bow out in
favour of my spot going to a convergence guest or to be there to try and
help where I can or something like that.
Any thoughts comments???
