Ok so the mirror has quite a few distros now, I decided against
uploading dvd iso's so i could upload more of other distros.

The mirror ( http://www.slacklinux.com/mirror/ ) now has:

> Arch 0.7
Arch Linux is an i686-optimized linux distribution. It is lightweight
and contains the latest stable versions of software. Packages are in
.tar.gz format and are tracked by a package manager that is designed to
allow easy package upgrades. Arch is quite streamlined compared to some
other distributions. Things that are relatively unused are not kept
(info-pages, for example). A default Arch install leaves you with a
solid base; from there, you can add packages to create the custom
installation you're looking for. Arch has a package build system that
allows you to easily create your own packages, which makes it very easy
to rebuild a package with your own custom configuration. Arch also aims
to use the newer features available to linux users, such as
ReiserFS/ext3 and udev.

> Debian
The Debian Project is an association of individuals who have made common
cause to create a free operating system. This operating system is called
Debian GNU/Linux, or simply Debian for short. Debian systems currently
use the Linux kernel. Linux is a completely free piece of software
started by Linus Torvalds and supported by thousands of programmers
worldwide. Of course, the thing that people want is application
software: programs to help them get what they want to do done, from
editing documents to running a business to playing games to writing more
software. Debian comes with over 8000 packages (precompiled software
that is bundled up in a nice format for easy installation on your
machine) - all of it free. It's a bit like a tower. At the base is the
kernel. On top of that are all the basic tools. Next is all the software
that you run on the computer. At the top of the tower is Debian --
carefully organizing and fitting everything so it all works together.
:::::NOTE: I have only included the first 4 cd's due to space
restrictions:::::

> Dam Small Linux
Damn Small Linux is a business card size (50MB) Live CD Linux
distribution. Despite its minuscule size it strives to have a functional
and easy to use desktop. Damn Small Linux has a nearly complete desktop,
including XMMS (MP3, and MPEG), FTP client, links-hacked web browser,
spreadsheet, email, spellcheck (US English), a word-processor, three
editors (Nedit, nVi, Zile [emacs clone]), Xpdf, Worker (file manager),
Naim (AIM, ICQ, IRC), VNCviwer, SSH/SCP server and client, DHCP client,
PPP, PPPoE, a web server, calculator, Fluxbox window manager, system
monitoring apps, USB support, and soon it will have PCMCIA support as
well. If you like Damn Small Linux you can install it on your hard
drive. Because all the applications are small and light it makes a very
good choice for older hardware.

> Fedora Core 3
The Fedora Project is an openly-developed project designed by Red Hat,
open for general participation, led by a meritocracy, following a set of
project objectives. The goal of The Fedora Project is to work with the
Linux community to build a complete, general purpose operating system
exclusively from open source software. Development will be done in a
public forum. The project will produce time-based releases of Fedora
Core about 2-3 times a year, with a public release schedule. The Red Hat
engineering team will continue to participate in building Fedora Core
and will invite and encourage more outside participation than in past
releases. By using this more open process, we hope to provide an
operating system more in line with the ideals of free software and more
appealing to the open source community.

> Flash Linux
lash Linux is a compact distribution designed exclusively to run off
256Mb USB keys or other bootable Flash based media. It includes hardware
detection [including LAN and Modem], auto configuration, a Gnome
desktop, and associated office tools.

> Gentoo
Gentoo Linux is a versatile and fast, completely free Linux distribution
geared towards developers and network professionals. Unlike other
distros, Gentoo Linux has an advanced package management system called
Portage. Portage is a true ports system in the tradition of BSD ports,
but is Python-based and sports a number of advanced features including
dependencies, fine-grained package management, "fake" (OpenBSD-style)
installs, safe unmerging, system profiles, virtual packages, config file
management, and more.

> IP Cop
IPCop Linux is a complete Linux Distribution whose sole purpose is to
protect the networks it is installed on. After seeing the direction
certain Linux Distributions were heading in, a group of dissatisfied
users/developers decided that there was little reason for the idea of a
GPL Linux Firewall Distribution of such potential to be, simply,
extinguished. By implementing existing technology, outstanding new
technology and secure programming practices IPCop is the Linux
Distribution for those wanting to keep their computers/networks safe.
The IPCop Linux Team is dedicated to doing the very best job possible to
keep your systems safe, as you can see on our site. "The Bad Packets
Stop Here!"

> Knoppix
Knoppix is a bootable CD with a collection of GNU/Linux software,
automatic hardware detection, and support for many graphics cards, sound
cards, SCSI and USB devices and other peripherals. Knoppix can be used
as a Linux demo, educational CD, rescue system, or adapted and used as a
platform for commercial software product demos. It is not necessary to
install anything on a hard disk. Due to on-the-fly decompression, the CD
can have up to 2 GB of executable software installed on it.

> Mandrake 10.1
Mandrake Linux was created in 1998 with the goal of making Linux easier
to use for everyone. At that time, Linux was already well-known as a
powerful and stable operating system that demanded strong technical
knowledge and extensive use of the "command line"; MandrakeSoft saw this
as an opportunity to integrate the best graphical desktop environments
and contribute its own graphical configuration utilities and quickly
became famous for setting the standard in ease-of-use and functionality.
With this innovative approach, MandrakeSoft offers all the power and
stability of Linux to both individuals and professional users in an
easy-to-use and pleasant environment. Thousands of new users are
discovering Linux each and every day and finding it a complete
replacement for their previous operating system. Linux as a server or
workstation has no reason to be jealous of any other more established
operating systems.

> Mepis
MEPIS Linux is a desktop Linux system that is also easy to configure as
a dedicated server. It is designed for both personal and business
purposes. It includes cutting-edge features such as a
live/installation/recovery CD, automatic hardware configuration, NTFS
partition resizing, ACPI power management, WiFi support, anti-aliased
TrueType fonts, a personal firewall, KDE, and much more.

> Slackware 10.1
The Official Release of Slackware Linux by Patrick Volkerding is an
advanced Linux operating system, designed with the twin goals of ease of
use and stability as top priorities. Including the latest popular
software while retaining a sense of tradition, providing simplicity and
ease of use alongside flexibility and power, Slackware brings the best
of all worlds to the table. Originally developed by Linus Torvalds in
1991, the UNIX-like Linux operating system now benefits from the
contributions of millions of users and developers around the world.
Slackware Linux provides new and experienced users alike with a
fully-featured system, equipped to serve in any capacity from desktop
workstation to machine-room server. Web, ftp, and email servers are
ready to go out of the box, as are a wide selection of popular desktop
environments. A full range of development tools, editors, and current
libraries is included for users who wish to develop or compile
additional software.

> Suse 9.2
SUSE LINUX is the international technology leader and solutions provider
in Open Source operating system software. SUSE's unique expertise in
Linux and its largest development team worldwide dedicated to Open
Source software has contributed to the recognition of SUSE as the most
complete Linux solution available today. With a workforce of more than
500 people worldwide, SUSE has offices throughout Europe, Latin America
and in the United States, entirely focused on supporting the Linux
community and Open Source development. SUSE LINUX was acquired by
Novell, Inc in November 2003.

> Ubuntu
Ubuntu Linux is a complete desktop Linux operating system, freely
available with both community and professional support. The Ubuntu
community is built on the ideas enshrined in the Ubuntu Manifesto: that
software should be available free of charge, that software tools should
be usable by people in their local language and despite any
disabilities, and that people should have the freedom to customise and
alter their software in whatever way they see fit. "Ubuntu" is an
ancient African word, meaning "humanity to others". The Ubuntu Linux
distribution brings the spirit of Ubuntu to the software world.

> Vidalinux
Desktop OS is a powerfull, stable and easy-to-use Linux distribution.
The desktop components are based on the best projects of the open source
community including the GNOME desktop environment, OpenOffice Ximian
productivity suite, Mozilla browser, Evolution mail and calendar client,
Gentoo Linux system and portage package manager. Vidalinux Desktop OS is
the only system which includes additional multimedia and productivity
applications for the home user including media players, browser plugins
for Flash, RealPlayer, PDF viewer, media, graphics design and
administration tools.

All of the above in the mirrors should just contain ISO's for x68 the
above where picked for one of two reasons either they were requested by
one of you or they where in the top 10 at Distro Watch (
http://distrowatch.com/ )

If I get $30 usd a month more from subscribers at
http://www.strikehosting.com I will open up another mirror for clug with
about the same specs that can host 64bit iso's and possibly a few more.
If I get $100 usd a month more from subscribers at
http://www.strikehosting.com I will setup a mirror for clug on its own
server (and yes a gentoo portage mirror)

Hope ya'll enjoy!

Night,
Travis R.
