Slightly off topic, but they are listed as a CLUG sponsor, so I figure
it's close enough :)

As someone who did a couple of years of what was basically 'system admin
school' at a university-college in BC, I'm looking to shore up my
knowledge of programming in my spare time beyond what I've taught
myself. And as my employer has offered to help pay for it, I'm thinking
of taking a System Development certificate at U of A
(http://www.computer.ucalgary.ca/certificates/softwaredev.html).

As I'm still relatively new in town and don't have anyone to ask, has
anyone on the list done one of these programs or known someone who has? 

I'm looking for some honest feedback on the quality of the courses and
if it was, well, worth the money!
